What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help individuals get healthy both in my clinic, Natural Healing & Acupuncture-and also through telemedicine. I specialize in fertility, women's health side effects of cancer treatment, and pain. I am also a certified sex coach and use this to support couples in fertility. I am the author of the book, Conceiving with Love."
Tell us about yourself
Having my own health and fertility issues, and having Chinese Medicine help me, made me want to become a Dr. of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a specialist in women's health. It is my passion to give natural remedies and alternative solutions to health issues.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is that I have been a recognized healer, owned a business, and have been an author in my field for more than 28 years. And I am a woman!!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I wanted to be a healer, but I didn't learn about the business side. I think the hardest thing is that when challenges come up, such as hiring new people and updating software, I have to learn more skills!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Ask for help, have a group of mentors that do the same thing as you that can answer questions, and believe you can do it!
