Mompreneur Success Academy equips moms who are online coaches with the knowledge, tools & resources to create clear messaging and go-to marketing plans so that they can start making money now! Our services include group and 1:1 coaching and design/content creation services.
Tell us about yourself
I'm Denise Fernander. I'm a mom, business strategy/accountability coach, podcaster, and the founder of MOMpreneur Success Academy. I'm a former classroom teacher, online teacher, and curriculum & instructional designer. Eleven years ago, after living years of burning the candle at both ends, my health was failing, and I was stressed out, exhausted, sick, mentally foggy, and nearly dead! I DESPERATELY wanted and needed to change my life and encourage my son's interest in becoming an entrepreneur as an example of SUCCESS. I changed my life, eventually started MOMpreneur Success Academy, and created a life where I am much healthier, happier, and more peaceful life and want to help others attain their brand of success in business and life as well! It's my passion and my purpose, and I have a roadmap that WORKS!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My first client came to me for help starting an online course, and together in less than 11 months, that program helped other women entrepreneurs grow their businesses and brought in over $100,000.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being an entrepreneur/business owner is constantly being faced with decisions and determining what's best for our business in the short and long term. There are definitely basics that we MUST have in order to succeed. We've got to have a clear vision and passion for our business. We also have to be willing to learn and willing to take risks. We've got to overcome the struggles of managing our time, learn how to delegate, and establish and consistently strengthen a strong team in our life and business. We have ALL of that while also wearing so many other hats in our human existence.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today would be to:
- Create a clear message that includes who your ideal client/customer is, what value you bring to them, and how it will transform their life.
- Develop a marketing plan to reach that specific audience.
- Strategically implement that plan repeatedly and adjust as you grow. It all boils down to having a clear MESSAGE, knowing how to reach your MARKET, and implementing the strategies to MONETIZE your business.
