What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer an online weight loss program. The program is for people ready to follow the three critical steps of the program:

  1. Commit to yourself.
  2. Learn how your metabolism works.
  3. Develop self-control and persevere.

Tell us about yourself

At the age of 18, I opened a karate school. After that, I completed a bachelor's and a master's degree in Human Kinetics, and finally, a doctorate in experimental medicine. The goal was to start my own business, and this is what I did.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Over the last 25 years, I've been able to adapt myself to the many changes our industry has faced.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Keep on going when the going gets tough. It also revealed in me incredible strength. I can stay focused no matter what happens.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Work on something you love.
  2. Find a niche.
  3. Sell to a first client, and repeat the same strategy over and over.
