What's your business, and who are your customers?
Deniece-Camille Natural Lifestyle Services produce healing of the mind, body, and spirit with a developed program titled Emotional Goal Coaching, a collaborative service of counseling & coaching addressing past, present, and future emotions that create our identities. This service is catered for couples, individuals needing anxiety restoration, and children 10 & up.
Deniece-Camille Natural Lifestyle Products offers a hair, face, and skin care line catered to rebuilding brokenness.
Tell us about yourself
I am an Overcomer. I was in a loveless marriage where trauma, emotional & mental abuse was the language of 'love & contentment. Sub-consciously and spiritually, I knew that this was not for me, yet in hindsight, I was fearful of seeing my light wholeheartedly. It wasn't until I was ushered by spirit to unblock my abundance and remove myself from the mode of survival to be able to self-assess and evaluate thoughts, actions, and emotions to shed my fears into fly and fight mode. It was very scary, it took many years of internally battling with fear against love to see what was truly missing... A healthy me!
I am given grace and patience by my ancestors daily through various signs and symbols to continue and press forward. Also, being able to be a vessel of truth and assisting others with their truth compensates me in more ways than anyone can imagine. I am grateful.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment for me has been seeing the revenue of how much I have already accomplished through hard work, risk-taking, and learning. I have been able to see what works for my work ethic.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner for me is knowing how to handle and grow your business from the admin side and visionary side. Being able to invest time in securing the true foundation.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Develop your why/reason for growing/starting a business.
- Be passionate about the business - make sure it's your dream, not someone else's.
- Partnerships, networking, and support are key to strengthening your business!
