What's your business, and who are your customers?
I’m a business coach specializing in behavioral dynamics in the workplace. My customers are C-level executives and Teams.
Tell us about yourself
The 2007 crisis led me out of my firm in 2009. The day after, I launched my business, helped by my previous firm, with which I kept a few clients. I was a Strategy Consultant, already a Certified Coach, so I leveraged the guaranteed income from consulting clients to develop coaching clients.
Motivation is not the issue; purpose is. Every day, when I talk to people, I see them blossoming. They change willingly, and I have 1st seats, which is my treat. What I do has meaning and impact. This is my purpose, and motivation follows.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I've survived all the crises since 2009 and managed to keep some corporate clients for over eight years.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It’s different for everyone, depending on your style and history. For me, it’s insecurity.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Whatever the workload, spend 20% of your time finding new clients and informing existing ones of your new offers and big achievements.
- Keep learning and join business clubs or entrepreneurs’ groups, not the least, to share best practices and maintain a high level of perspective.
- Hire people not only for performances but also for their mindset and values.
