Tell us about yourself

I started my digital services agency out of a passion for helping businesses succeed online. Before launching my agency, I worked in marketing for several years, helping companies develop and execute successful digital strategies. However, I felt limited in my ability to truly make an impact, as I was often beholden to the constraints of my corporate role. I knew that I had the skills and expertise to help businesses achieve their goals in a more meaningful way, but I needed to strike out on my own to make it happen.

My motivation for starting this business was simple: I wanted to help other entrepreneurs and business owners achieve their dreams. I knew firsthand the challenges of running a business, and I saw a need for affordable, high-quality digital services that could help level the playing field for small and medium-sized businesses. I was also excited by the constantly evolving nature of the digital landscape and the endless possibilities it offered for growth and innovation.

My goal for the future of the agency is to continue to provide best-in-class digital services that help our clients achieve their goals and stand out in a crowded market. I want to be known as a trusted partner and advisor to our clients, offering not just technical expertise but also strategic guidance and support. I believe that the key to success in this industry is staying ahead of the curve, so I am constantly investing in new technologies and learning opportunities to ensure that we are always at the cutting edge of the field.

Ultimately, my vision for the agency is to help businesses of all sizes achieve their full potential online. I believe that digital services have the power to transform businesses and change lives, and I am excited to be part of this dynamic and ever-evolving industry. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and exceptional customer service, I am confident that we can achieve great things together.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, it's difficult to pick just one accomplishment that stands out as the "biggest" - every success feels like a triumph in its own right! However, if I had to choose, I would say that my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is building a team that truly embodies our agency's values and mission.

When I first started out, it was just me working out of my home office. But as our agency grew, I knew that I needed to start building a team of talented professionals who could help us deliver exceptional results for our clients. Finding the right people wasn't easy - it took time and effort to identify individuals who shared our vision, had the necessary skills, and were a good cultural fit.

However, over time, we were able to build a team that truly exemplifies what we stand for. Our team members are passionate about digital marketing and dedicated to helping our clients succeed. They are always willing to go the extra mile to deliver outstanding results, and they are committed to ongoing learning and development.

For me, seeing our team members thrive and our clients achieve their goals is the ultimate measure of success. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished as a team, and I know that we have many more great things ahead of us. By continuing to focus on delivering exceptional service, staying ahead of industry trends, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration, I am confident that we can continue to achieve great things in the years to come.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is the constant need to wear multiple hats and manage multiple responsibilities. As a business owner, I am responsible for everything from developing and executing our marketing strategy to managing our finances, overseeing our team, and ensuring that we are delivering the best possible service to our clients.

While this level of responsibility can be incredibly rewarding, it can also be incredibly challenging. There are times when it feels like there simply aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done, and I have to constantly prioritize and make tough decisions about where to focus my time and energy.

Another difficult aspect of being a business owner is dealing with uncertainty and risk. When you're running your own business, there are no guarantees - every decision you make has the potential to impact your success or failure. It can be difficult to balance the need to take calculated risks with the need to protect your business and ensure that you are making sound financial decisions.

Despite these challenges, I believe that being a business owner is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences anyone can have. The ability to chart your own course, pursue your passion, and make a difference in the world is truly unparalleled. While there will always be tough days and difficult decisions, I wouldn't trade the experience of running my own business for anything in the world.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

As an agency owner, I have learned many lessons over the years about what it takes to start, run, and grow a successful business. Here are my top three tips for anyone looking to embark on this exciting journey:

  1. Focus on your customer: No matter what type of business you are starting, your customer should always be at the center of everything you do. Make sure you have a clear understanding of their needs, pain points, and desires, and work tirelessly to exceed their expectations. Listen to their feedback, incorporate it into your business strategy, and always put their needs first.
  2. Be willing to adapt and pivot: The business landscape is constantly changing, and what worked yesterday may not work tomorrow. It's essential to be willing to adapt and pivot your strategy as needed to stay ahead of the curve. Keep a close eye on industry trends, listen to your customers, and be open to new ideas and ways of doing things.
  3. Build a strong team: No business can succeed without a talented and dedicated team of professionals behind it. Invest time and resources into finding and nurturing the right people who share your vision and are passionate about your mission. Make sure everyone on your team is aligned around your goals and working towards a common purpose, and create a culture that fosters learning, growth, and collaboration.

By focusing on these three key areas - your customer, your ability to adapt, and your team - you can set yourself up for success and achieve your business goals over the long term. While there will always be challenges and obstacles along the way, with the right mindset and approach, anything is possible.
