What's your business, and who are your customers?
Danilets Detailing is a family-owned cleaning business deeply committed to serving our amazing customers. Our expertise lies in interior and exterior vehicle detailing, polishing, ceramic coating, and fleet cleaning. We serve businesses with work fleets, car enthusiasts, and individuals with a busy lifestyle. Each car we rejuvenate is a testament to our dedication and a reflection of our passion. We also do commercial and residential cleaning under the umbrella of Timils Cleaning LLC.
Tell us about yourself
We started amidst the challenging times of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a YouTube video that sparked a flame in Timothy's heart, leading him to invest in car detailing equipment. Elijah joined, and they forged a brotherhood. Our journey from Ukraine and Latvia, leaving behind everything and fleeing our home country for a new beginning, was a testament to our resilience. Each sunrise presents a gift, a new day, and a new opportunity to chase our dreams. That fuels our daily motivation.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We are proud to say that we have been able to detail over 1,000 vehicles since 2020. Each car was a chapter in our story, a testament to our dedication. We also moved from being solely mobile to owning a dedicated space, a monumental stride into the future.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
What is the biggest challenge of being a business owner? The relentless pressure and weight of responsibility. When the wind doesn't blow your way, it's your ship to steer. The mental toll can be severe, but every wave we overcome strengthens our resolve.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
To those dreaming of venturing on a similar path of business, here are some insights:
- Own your mistakes, for they are not failures but stepping stones to wisdom. Every stumble brings you closer to your success.
- Don't let fear hold you back. You may feel unprepared, lacking the perfect set of tools. But remember, the most beautiful sculptures were once rough stones. Start with what you have.
- Never forget that your business is not just about transactions; it's about people, relationships, and experiences. Each customer is a person with a story. Serve them, exceed their expectations, and make their experience unforgettable. That's the heart of a successful business.
