What's your business, and who are your customers?
I teach Sensual Integration to women who want to express their full selves, build confidence, and eradicate body shame.
Tell us about yourself
I have always taught the things that benefit me. I feel it is my duty to pass along the wisdom I have gained because it was never meant to stop with me. I have taught various forms of movement for 30 years, and of all things, sensual integration is the one modality that effectively moved the needle toward changing my students' relationship with their bodies, self-confidence, and chronic pain. I am motivated by witnessing women, time and again, step into freedom and live a shame-free life.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Trusting myself.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The necessary amount of "stretching" it takes to wear multiple hats for my business to function and time management.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Trust yourself.
- Have a support system in place.
- Accept that you are going to mess up a million times. It is a part of the process and necessary for the mining of what you are attempting to create.
