What's your business, and who are your customers?
Dallas Dietitian Nutritionist is a leading nutrition services provider serving the Dallas area patients. I work in treating and preventing disease by providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy. I use various nutrition assessments to make nutrition diagnoses so I can prescribe the most effective solutions.
Tell us about yourself
I am a registered and licensed dietitian (RDN, LD) with a certificate of training in weight management. I received my Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from the University of Houston and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University.
I have more than 12 years of experience in nutrition, working with children and adults facing various nutritional challenges. I have managed over 280 patients who suffered from chronic diseases. Each patient received customized step-by-step programs that enabled them to reach their nutritional goals while at the same time building habits that lasted for a lifetime.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to accept many major insurances to make dietetic services more affordable for the community.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Time management and staying proactive.
