What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are Event Fundraising Professionals with a specialty in auctions and donation appeals. We are speakers, auctioneers, and trainers. Our customers are nonprofits, schools, medical foundations, charitable foundations, and individuals raising money for worthy causes.

Tell us about yourself

Our family was our first customer. We needed to raise money for uncovered medical expenses for our young son. When the insurance company said no, our friends, family, and community said yes. That event was transformational, and we decided to pay it forward and help as many other people as we could. We now serve over 100 charities each year. We are motivated by the power of giving, the power of generosity, and the power of community. Nonprofits across the country are the primary force for good and are having the biggest impact on the lives of others.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our biggest accomplishment has been our ability to help charities succeed in the ever-changing world around us. Our charities were successful during the recession and during the pandemic, and many are setting all-time fundraising records!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The most challenging aspect of our business is the calendar. We work in person, live on stage, and can only work on one event at a time. Popular dates on the schedule fill quickly, sometimes a year in advance, and simply are not available to help everyone that makes a request.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find something you love that solves a problem for someone else and call it your work.
  2. Start today, “When would now be the time?”
  3. Give more in value than you receive in return. The more value you provide, the more successful you’ll be.
