What's your business, and who are your customers?
Creative Wellness. Small business owners and CEOs. I offer Mindfulness-based 1:1 Coaching, Accredited Workplace Wellness Training, and Holistic Wellness Sessions. Many of my clients are overwhelmed or stressed and looking for new options or seeking personal and professional development.
Tell us about yourself
I have a lifelong passion for healing and want to be a doctor. My mom died of cancer when I was 20, which destroyed that idea. I spent my 20s chronically ill. I went to the bathroom 30-40x a day and had nine urologists, and none helped. Finally had a day where I was too sick to take care of my baby and had to crawl to the phone for help.
I started looking for healing in ways I never knew existed and found it through fitness, nutrition, and meditation. I rediscovered my passion for helping and healing and started getting educated to help others. I'm a single mom of two daughters, and want to make the world a better place for them motivates me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Staying in business. They continue to keep at it no matter what.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The financial ups and downs. The amount of time needed. Balancing my time. Self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism. Letting some things go and creating harmony instead of trying to achieve balance has been vital.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Focus on what matters most.
- Know yourself, your values, and your emotional processes (EI matters), and act in line with them.
- Do what you love.
