What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a coaching and counseling practice in Buford, Ga. Celebrating our fifth anniversary this year. A place where healing, play, and transformation come together.
Tell us about yourself
My motivation is to see each other thrive. The pandemic has wrecked havoc on individuals, families, and marriages, and my job is to bring joy, laughter, resilience, and motivation back to our clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To see our employees find help, support, and purpose in their work and feel at the center of God's will for their lives. Also, seeing our clients move forward in their lives and thrive instead of just surviving.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
To find and retain experienced full-time therapists and life coaches. The great resignation caused by the pandemic has affected our practice and other group practices. Seems like most employees only want to work part-time these days.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
It's not for the faint of heart. It's a clear calling from God. There will always be one step forward and two steps back, but it's worth it in the end. Keep the faith, grind, and in the end, you are helping and serving the community you love! Which is so worth it!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
We are now offering executive life coaching as well as health and wellness coaching. This is a new branch of our practice that we have launched this year! We are very excited about this. We also offer counseling services in English, Spanish, and French.
