What's your business, and who are your customers?
Crafted Creations Candle Company specializes in creating luxurious and natural candles that are not only highly scented but great for decor as well. Additionally, we offer a vast array of scented home products, bath and body products, and elegant home decor. We also host Atlanta's favorite candle-making classes and parties. Our candle classes combine the Atlanta vibes with candle-making. Our customers are high-quality candle lovers that enjoy clean-burning and admiringly scented candles.
Tell us about yourself
Crafted Creations originally started at the very beginning stages of the COVID pandemic. My husband and I had our first baby in which we did not want to place her in daycare with everything that was going on. Having said that, I quit my job and became a stay-at-home mom, and eventually started an online business. After pitching the idea to my husband about making candles, he instantly joined me in the kitchen, where we started making magic! What motivated us the most was our baby girl and building an empire for our family!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Thus far, our biggest accomplishment would be opening up our first retail location and gaining a plethora of customers in such a short time period.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest aspect of being a business owner is pressing through the pressure and making the decision not to give up.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Our first tip would be to persevere!
- Learn the fundamentals of opening and managing a business.
- Separate business funds from personal funds.
