Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Aaron Wdowin, Co-Founder of Cover Three, located in Corona Del Mar, CA, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
Cover Three is about better brain health and helping people fight back against focus issues, brain fog, and age-related cognitive decline. Our customers are little kiddos whose parents need help getting them all the nutrition their developing brains need. The adult who wants to perform better at home and in the office. And the athlete or veteran who needs extra support because of the extreme life they live.
Tell us about yourself
I was personally suffering from a history of playing football and having a severe car accident. The years of head hits were starting to catch up with me, and I was failing physically, mentally, and emotionally. I was worried about my future and whether it would end well. I asked my brother to help me and save me from a bad end. He developed this formula, and it worked so well we decided to turn it into a product to help others who were suffering as well.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Making a simple and surprisingly tasty packet that I can share like a magic wand. When I meet people that are suffering from headaches, focus issues, emotional issues, or more serious results of a bad car accident or a horse fall, I can connect them with this product, and shortly after, I hear back about how it has really helped them reclaim their lives in the best way.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Getting the word out so that more people try it and get out of suffering. There are so many products out there; sometimes, it can be difficult helping to make it clear that ours is a level above the rest.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Love the why behind your product.
- Be prepared for the ups and downs.
- Stick with it and ask for help when you can.
