What's your business, and who are your customers?

Corporate Sufi Worldwide inspires and empowers leaders to achieve material success blended with a deep sense of purpose, passion, and happiness.

Customers include members of Young President Organization (YPO), Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), Leaders and Managers of mid and large corporations.

Tell us about yourself

A soul-stirring experience volunteering with Afghan refugees as a professional accountant led to me changing my career from ‘accounting for business’ (accounting for profit) to ‘accounting for life’ (accounting for impact). Since then, my focus has been on leadership coaching, inspirational speaking, and writing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Transforming leaders to embody the philosophy of the power of giving and living to give in all walks of life, including business.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

During the early days struggling to figure it all out in a completely new career of leadership coaching, inspirational speaking, and writing books.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don’t reinvent the wheel; hire those who have been there and done what you want to do.
  2. Focus on your sweet spot - what you do best, enjoy doing, and what brings you income.
  3. Hire staff that knows what you lack and understand what it takes to succeed in your area of work.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Begin a daily act of ‘Live to Give’ in all walks of life - business, family, social causes. Why? The more you give, the more you will create and innovate! We are born to give, hard-wired to give, and we have an innate need to give. This is not charity; it is a very powerful business paradox approach!!
