What's your business, and who are your customers?

My goal is to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals by giving them knowledge, confidence, and drive to know that their fitness will never be an added stressor in their lives. I want to instill confidence in their knowledge and acceptance of their body so that fitness is never a source of shame or misunderstanding. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through NASM and have helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals over the past two years.

Tell us about yourself

I first got started with my online fitness coaching business basically because I wanted to really expand my reach that I had with helping people with their own health and wellness because I saw the benefits that it served me. And I was also working. I was working towards getting my CPA license when I launched my business. So as I was doing both of these, at the same time, I realized how much how crucial having my own health and all this down served me in my professional career, so I figured why not tie both of those hand-in-hand and help people get a solid foundation with their health and wellness so that they could essentially expand that into all of the other Dimensions of their life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would say my biggest accomplishment as a business owner would be that I really can. My first goal was essentially the stay in myself as this as it is a full-time income. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it was a very affordable city, and then I decided to move to LA, so my first goal is really to be able to live off of this as a full-time income, and I have to work any other side jobs while living in the most expensive city in the USA. And once I achieved this, my next goal was to scale this to a six-figure business annually, which I have since Don; if I'm looking at my monthly run rate and ultimately, I'd like to get this to a seven-figure business. Overall I would say, however up to this point, my biggest compliment is the fact that I've touched thousands of people's lives and helped them live a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life as a result of me taking a chance, taking a big risk and putting the emphasis on serving other people, giving pouring out into their lives and helping them live a better life as a result.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

I would say the hardest thing that I deal with on a daily basis is prioritizing and estimating how much it is any given task will take. I would say it's difficult to estimate and prioritize new tasks that you've never done before, and I believe that that's the hardest thing when it comes to scaling up businesses, seeing what needs to be in place, Estimating how long that's going to take and whether or not I specifically need to be doing this or is this something that is outsourcing this to my support team or assistance or other people that can do this and where to best use most efficiently and effectively use my time should be.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

The first thing that I would say would be not to be afraid to dream super super super big and have very, very, very big goals that, if you told anyone else, they might actually just like you, and not to be afraid of setting those goals for your self. The second tip that I would give anyone is to take a second and learn which areas you can handoff to people and which areas you need to remain under your supervision and under your task list for the day and not be afraid of outsourcing and giving out tasks that can more easily be done to people that are obviously capable of doing so. The third tip I would give would be to have as much fun as you possibly can in the entire process of running your business grow in your business. Enjoy the friendships that you make, enjoy the relationships that you make because it's a lifelong journey; there's no way that I view it as I'm not working towards a retirement; I'm working towards impact, and I think when we adopt that mentality, everyone benefits when we focus on impact and we focus on serving, and we focus on giving, and when you just focus on having as much fun as you can about that process, I think that combination is the best combination you could possibly have.
