I am a freelance artist, photographer, and graphic designer, working in the visual arts business all my life.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
This is more like the sum of my collaborations as a graphic designer/photographer with a number of major companies here in Montréal, Canada.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Managing all aspects of the "business," from public relations, conception, and production to accounting and financials. All are very time-consuming. Prepare for long (many) hours to spend a week.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Surround yourself with competent and complementary people that will really help you grow.
