What's your business, and who are your customers?

I create brightly colored accessories to bring a pop of joy and color to your day! I believe colors have the power to make people happy and to bring joy, and I strive to do just that. I want my customers to feel like the beautiful and amazing people they are when they wear my earrings. I also strive to be a brand where everyone feels respected, loved, and welcomed. I want everyone to wear my earrings, and I create things for anyone and with everyone in mind!

Tell us about yourself

I first started working on my business because I love accessories, and I thought it would be fun to create some of my own. That quickly led to discovering a passion I didn’t know I had, and that only grew and grew when I saw how much people enjoyed wearing the earrings I was creating. I stay motivated, knowing that what I design and create makes other people smile and feel beautiful.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is being able to create a business out of something I love doing. Not only do I love making earrings and other accessories, but I love watching people wear them, and it never ceases to amaze me that people would choose to spend their money on my products. To think that I am creating something people want to buy is still mind-boggling and absolutely amazing! I will never take it for granted.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being a business owner means doing all the things yourself and constantly juggling ten different things. You wear so many different hats, and you have to be good at all of them, and sometimes they can be super tiring because it’s hard to slow down or take a break when your whole business depends on you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would say that building relationships in the small business community is the most important thing! That will lead you to make other small business friends and can yield some really rewarding relationships. I would also recommend creating set work hours so that you are not burning yourself out. Lastly, have fun! This is your business; you get to do with it what you want. The sky is the limit; you can do whatever you dream of!
