Tell us about yourself

I started my journey in business consulting after two decades in the renewable energy and agricultural sectors. While working in these industries, I developed a passion for helping organizations to grow and operate more efficiently.

As I gained more experience, I realized that many small and medium-sized businesses struggle with setting up the right systems, structures, and processes to achieve their goals. I saw an opportunity to use my expertise to help these companies achieve success and decided to start my own business consulting firm.

Through CJC Enterprises, I've had the pleasure of working with a wide range of businesses and individuals, helping them to optimize their operations, develop effective strategies, and achieve their desired outcomes. I'm always looking for new partnerships and opportunities to connect with other professionals who share my commitment to helping businesses thrive. If you're interested in learning more about my services or collaborating on a project, please don't hesitate to reach out.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

What I am most proud of as a business owner is getting to be actively involved in individuals or companies that learn to overcome obstacles and experience growth, expansion, and fulfillment in their lives/businesses. I always want to see others grow and experience greater opportunities.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is the weight of responsibility that rests on their shoulders. Business owners are responsible for ensuring the success of their businesses, meeting the needs of their customers, managing finances, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, and leading their teams. This can be overwhelming and stressful and can lead to long hours, difficult decisions, and a constant need to balance competing priorities. Additionally, the success or failure of the business can impact the personal and financial well-being of the owner, adding an extra layer of pressure.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Develop a clear and specific business plan: A detailed business plan helps you stay focused and organized as you build your business. It should include your mission, target market, unique selling proposition, marketing strategies, financial projections, and growth plans.
  2. Embrace innovation and technology: In today's digital age, innovation and technology are essential for businesses to stay competitive and relevant. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in your industry and invest in tools that can streamline your operations and improve customer experiences.
  3. Build a strong team: Your team is the backbone of your business, and having the right people in the right positions can make all the difference. Invest in finding and retaining top talent, and make sure everyone is aligned with the company's vision and values. Also, make sure you foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages creativity and productivity.

Remember, starting and running a successful business takes hard work, dedication, and persistence. Keep learning and adapting, and always strive for excellence.
