What's your business, and who are your customers?
As a transformational life coach, I empower women to embody their passion and purpose. To unlock their potential, and there I ate capabilities. To become unapologetic about their needs and become proficient at self-care. All the while still saving time and energy to care for those they love the most.
Tell us about yourself
Hello, my name is Christine, and I own Live Free Wellness. My company is an online education and wellness jewelry business for women of all walks of life. The focus of my education is to improve mental health, open doors, and encourage self-care for the everyday woman who has a career, a family, a husband, and a full schedule. Women everywhere are notorious for putting everyone in front of themselves to the detriment of their needs and wants. I want to rebuild their confidence and help them to unlock those parts of themselves that have laid dormant under the constant pressure of what a "good girl" should be like.
This passion became a reality for me after I went through my journey with Stage 3 Breast Cancer and Stage 1 Lung Cancer. I was devastated and so so scared. I still remember feeling like I had lived my life for so many people except myself, and now it seemed like perhaps it was ending. After a very difficult year, I got the extraordinary news that both Cancers were in remission! So, I began my journey to fully embody all that I felt I had been missing. My life became extraordinary. So extraordinary, I decided I wanted to teach others as well. I wanted to inspire other women to unlock their own potential and capabilities. To unearth the version of themselves, they have been bashfully hiding behind the title of "good girl" for all these years. I wanted to set women free before the need for interventions like disease and disaster. This is my life's purpose, and I will stop at nothing to help women everywhere.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is seeing my students' lives change for the better. When a student tells me her children are healthier and happier and they have become healthier and happier, I do a little happy dance. When a student tells me she has been able to heal a connection with her estranged family member, I do a happy dance. When I hear from a student that she was able to get her dream job, I do a happy dance. When I hear from a student (a teacher) that she was able to get through to her students in a way whenever has before, I do a happy dance. My student wins are my proudest accomplishments by far.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest parts about being a business owner is gaining traction and exposure. I want to begin to help women everywhere, but I have to remain patient and steadfast. I have to wake up daily with doubt and fear and continue anyway. It will come!
