Tell us about yourself

I’m an Expert Digital Marketer who helps emerging entrepreneurs & businesses create dynamic branding kits, set realistic marketing goals, and define their target market through an automized marketing plan. I began Christian Taylor Marketing, a digital marketing agency based in Atlanta, Ga, on Sept. 1st, 2020, during a worldwide pandemic to assist small businesses in continuing to find new avenues to reach their audiences. My mission is to educate and not just fill a space in my client’s business. I have over ten years of experience in Influencer Marketing and Advertising and have worked with brands such as Red Bull, BET, and other prominent production studios across Georgia. I’m a WordPress expert, Meta Ads (previously known as Facebook Ads), and Instagram genius. In 2021, I helped over 150 new and established businesses elevate their brands to the next level. My motto is, “To do the work, you must DO THE WORK.” This has led my company to continue to be innovative and on top of a fast-growing industry such as digital marketing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to successfully start a business in the middle of a pandemic while completely changing my career track.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I went from having multiple sources of income to depending on my business for support. I won’t dare complain about challenges because I know that God would never put more on me than I can bear. He’s been with me through this all, and I continue to lean on him in times of need.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be resilient.
  2. Be adaptable.
  3. Be confident.

For almost every job I’ve had since I started working at 14, I taught myself to make a way out of no way. It’s helped me in my career to excel over other candidates, and it’s also helped me in life to get out of a lot of sticky situations. Resilience is not just about recovery, but it’s about the plan—the ability to adapt without instruction. Many people don’t have that, and I’m glad to have been born with such a fantastic attribute.
