Hone's customers are innovative, productive, active, smart, creative doers seeking the ultimate solution for brain fog, midday slumps, late nights, and early mornings.
Tell us about yourself
I started down this path to combat my dependence on Adderall. I stay motivated in this business because of the positive feedback that we receive from our friends, families, and strangers who swear by our product. It's so rewarding to supply the means for someone to make a positive change in their life.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Getting our product into Erewhon on the first try felt like a huge win that could only be attributed to the hard work that we put into the brand and formula. Many of our colleagues have been trying to get into their doors for a long time with little success, so this felt like a huge validation for our brand.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Managing expectations and mitigating burnout have been consistent themes throughout our time in business. Fortunately, we are a partnership, so we have each other to confide in and lean on when things get tough, and motivation feels like a scarce resource.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Embrace failure as a learning experience and a badge of honor. Keep getting up and moving forward.
- Your community is your biggest asset. Talk to everyone and ask for feedback, connections, and favors but be polite and respectful of everyone's bandwidth and time.
- You are your own biggest advocate. Tell your story loud and proud everywhere you go. Your passion will attract the people that you want to build with.
