What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is career coaching/sales training and guidance and overall mentorship. My clients are anyone looking to get out of the career they're currently in, people in sales roles, and anyone who might need some guidance in their professional life.
Tell us about yourself
I've always had a strong desire to help and guide people. I noticed in sales that I had a strong talent for connecting with people and offering my help coming from a place of authenticity and love. It gives me energy and is incredibly rewarding to me to teach someone something, to offer a different view on things, or even just think about an obstacle differently. I am very sympathetic and empathic for the fact that I most likely have been in a similar situation prior. I'm motivated by other people's energies and excitement!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every time I get to work with a new client, it's a big accomplishment! I feel like being a business owner is building a plane as you fly it, especially if it's your first business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Time management seems to be a challenge for me currently. I know this is with anything new, and I can come up with a better schedule, but knowing where to dedicate your time is challenging and how to prioritize certain things.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have help or assistance.
- Learn as much as you can.
- Keep people around that support you and encourage you even when you don't have the confidence yourself.
