Tell us about yourself

With over 25 years of cross-industry experience, I take a hands-on approach to retail consulting. I earned a reputation as the "turnaround specialist" from top retail executives and have earned countless awards both personally and on behalf of my partners for consistently exceeding expectations, nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, and building relationships that will continue to evolve in a changing retail environment.

My work has helped Fortune 500 Companies grow their retail footprint across the US, and major travel retail companies and brands become household names globally.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I treat our clients like partners, working alongside them to overcome their most challenging obstacles. I always believe my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is keeping my core values intact. Integrity, transparency, and my dedication to our customers are something I have not changed during my career, both as an employee and now as a business owner. My hands-on approach has not changed and will not change...

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

With direct operational experience at over 150 retail locations, hands-on remodeling of over 100 retail spaces, and helping our clients expand by opening over 75 new locations nationwide, we understand the winning formula for retail success firsthand.

The hardest thing as the CEO and Founder of WP Business Consulting is keeping customers on track and having trust that we know what we are doing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start a business you have either a passion for, or you have working knowledge or are involved with. Your network, friends, and family will be your biggest fans. And that will be your base.
  2. Be prepared to give up your personal life in terms of your weekends, family events, and your friends. It is hard work, long hours, and often many times, you want to quit. Don't quit, and don't give up! Your dream is worth it. It gets better. It clicks!
  3. The tools, gadgets, and sales pitches that will be presented to you are not worth spending your money on! At least not at the beginning. Grow your business as your income grows. Your business will grow if you follow steps one and two.
