What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer private culinary services, cater events, and teach cooking classes. Anyone who loves to eat or wants to learn to cook is one of my clients, and they range in age from youngsters to adults.

Tell us about yourself

I started working on my business after working in restaurants for about six years. It was always my dream to become a private chef and work for myself. My motivation is my client's happiness as well as the creative aspect that is allowed by working for myself.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is simply becoming successful on my own, without help from anyone. Taking a risk and branching out on my own was scary but very rewarding! I have long-term clients who continue to be very happy and satisfied with my services, and that is very gratifying!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is definitely the risk that it involves. However, everything in life is a risk, so why not!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
