After working for a number of years for luxury hotels around the globe, I felt it was time to strike out on my own. I am motivated by the immediate feedback I get from my guests.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having the courage to take my years of experience and apply them to what I do every day.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Staying on top of laws, regulations, certificates, etc.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have faith that what you are doing benefits you and your guests.
  2. Expect to put in long hours and work on being efficient.
  3. Make contacts. You never know when your next opportunity will appear.
