What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a personal chef, bringing you healthy restaurant quality meal prep. We also custom-create dinner parties with a focus on food allergies, where everyone can feel included!

Tell us about yourself

I started my business because I wanted to work for myself, and my family all have their own businesses. I keep doing it because I love what I do, and it keeps me from going back to the very unhealthy lifestyle of working in restaurants.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is when I got this compliment, "you are a rockstar, you made ME look like a rockstar," when doing a huge fundraiser for a friend.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I think having to juggle everything at one time and be the one to decide what comes first.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start now! Even if it is just one client or building one part.
  2. Be flexible because things are going to change constantly.
  3. Take care of yourself! I have found that when I take better care of myself, everything goes much better.
