What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Kop is a local specialty coffee roaster in BC, Canada. Our mission is to cheer up life with good coffee.

Tell us about yourself

I love coffee and Canadian drink a lot of coffee every day. It is a perfect match. Coffee is a magic media brings people together and we try to fulfill it well.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We opened 2 months before the pandemic. So far, being operating still is the happiest thing to cheer for.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Keeping focus is always not easy to realize when I work as a small biz owner but I have to try and keep it going.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Just start it first and then you know the next step.

2. Focus on one product/service you believe.

3. Avoid thinking about the negative stuff.
