What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a #1 bestselling author, an award-winning entrepreneur, and a 7-figure spiritual life and business coach for 28 years. I have guided tens of thousands of entrepreneurs, innovators, healers, and humanitarians to heal the rift between heart, spirit, and money… to save the world as only they can.
Tell us about yourself
Having proven definitively that an Ivy League education, celebrity clients, taglines and testimonials, half a dozen master coach certifications, and every Law of Attraction gimmick in the world were no match for my own Superpowers of Money Repulsion, I was struggling to make $100 a month in Los Angeles, California. I had already taken every marketing, sales, and mindset course available in the late 90s early aughts, and I had a reputation for working magic in the entertainment industry. None of it mattered. I was still making $100 a month.
I found my own financial results changed for the better (to the tune of millions of dollars) when I changed my relationship dynamic with money from a bad boyfriend (always skipping out on me, telling me I'm not good enough) to a swoon-worthy lover. And that set me on course to becoming an international best-selling author and world-famous authority on making millions while putting LOVE first. I've coached tens of thousands of clients from 6 continents and tons of countries.
What motivates me is love— I LOVE my work and my clients— and the daily evidence that the "impossible" happens all the time. Success stories from strangers around the world definitely keep me going!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have achieved the financial freedom to focus all my attention and energy on love, lifestyle, and legacy. My business allows me to travel the world and marry my husband 100 times in 100 countries. It's also fun to see clients start at zero and make millions of dollars over a few months.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having faith in yourself and the process, especially when it doesn't go as you expect. This is where the magic happens. I tell my clients to imagine every roadblock, obstacle, and speed bump that occurs to help them course correct and get to their desired destination better and faster. As one client pointed out, a speed bump can slow you down and raise your elevation to see a bigger picture.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Whether you are selling a product or a service, ask yourself what is the EXPERIENCE you want your customers to have, and what are the most important steps to provide that experience. That is what you're selling.
- Your wealth is in your weirdness. Creating a business is an act of creation and invention. Copying someone else only makes you a poor copy and puts you at a competitive disadvantage.
- Change happens at the speed of safety. If you're doing everything you're supposed to do and you're still not seeing the results you desire and deserve, take a look at what you might be protecting yourself from. In my experience, it's never what you expect.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
When you imagine your money as a real, flesh and blood person worthy of your deepest admiration, you embark on an amazing, love-at-first-sight affair of the heart. Pennies on the ground are like chocolates on your pillow. What would it be like if money LOVED you?
