What's your business, and who are your customers?

We specialize in working with technology and technology services companies to generate an additional $500,000 to $1 million in sales over 12 months with new logos.

Tell us about yourself

I started my career at Accenture and fell in love with technology and what it could do for business. I left to start my own financial consulting practice in 2002 and exited in 2011. I learned a lot about lead generation, sales, and client service during that time. I created Cornerstone in 2012 to help technology companies get new clients. In other words, I combined the technology skill set with the business development skill set to add value to technology companies.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping others succeed.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Motivating people and helping them stay focused on the vision.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be willing and excited to work 80-90 hours weekly.
  2. You will fail a lot. Embrace it, learn from it, and don't quit. Failure is a great teacher.
  3. Whatever capital you think you need, double it.
