Tell us about yourself
I'm an entrepreneur, educator, small business owner, product creator, business strategist, Amazon seller, wife, and mama. I wasn’t always the brave-spirited entrepreneur I am today. I was a new mom desperate to escape the corporate world. Owning my own business was always in the back of my mind, but the real motivation was being there for my kids, creating my own schedule, and having complete control of my financial future.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been staying at ease with myself even when I was facing a lot of unknowns.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is juggling all your roles as an entrepreneur and finding a work-life balance.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Focus on providing value by solving a real problem or fulfilling a need. Once you figure that out, spend time researching the right products and platforms.
- Be flexible. The business world is constantly changing. It's important that you adapt and pivot with it.
- You have to push yourself. No one is coming to save you or do it for you.
