What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who helps women over 50 who struggle with food obsession quit All or Nothing Dieting and cultivate the Courage to Trust so they can eat with joy instead of eating to seek joy.
Tell us about yourself
The health and wellness industry often shames people for not making the absolute best choice at every moment. I am passionate about helping people break free from that shame and fuel healthy choices by tapping into their own motivations to change. I am proud of the work I do with my clients to liberate them from harmful cultural rhetoric about health.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is helping over 100 women with my Courage to Trust Method.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is also the best; that is all the personal growth I've had to do to get out of my own way and serve my clients well.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't do it alone; find a community to give you guidance and support and a good counselor.
- Get to know your customers better than you know yourself.
- Make sure your sales processes work before wasting time marketing or advertising.
