Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Carmela Fleury, Co-Founder of Mother Wild, located in Clinton, WA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We provide online workshops and retreats to mothers of young children.

Tell us about yourself

I ran an online workshop with seven other mothers. From there, we co-wrote a book, ran workshops together, started a course together, and ran retreats together.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Providing mothers with permission to take care of themselves and follow their dreams.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

It's always an open tab in my brain. That's why I need surfing, yoga, breath work, yoga Nidra, yin yoga, etc., to shut it off temporarily.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do it.
  2. Make sure it aligns with your values.
  3. Work with others who complement your skills and whom you enjoy spending time with.
