What's your business, and who are your customers?
We find people the job they desire and deserve through improved resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profile management, connection making, and other services. Our customers are anyone looking for a job they desire and deserve, including recent grads, early to mid to late career job seekers, and those just beginning to join or rejoin the job market.
Tell us about yourself
I got into this business after doing resumes for several of my colleagues over the years. I'm motivated each day by seeing the results of our efforts, especially when someone posts that they landed a new job on LinkedIn.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to train and develop over 700 apprentices and interns since 2011.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying motivated when the day-to-day work is complete. Sometimes it can be easy to relax or take it easy when your customer-facing work is complete, but staying on top of mentoring, business development, and networking is so important.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Manage your time and energy, and then your money. If you put time and energy into your work, the money, power, and opportunity will arrive in abundance.
- Never miss the chance to say hello again. Any connection is a good connection, so stay in touch, even when you have left a profession or area for a new one.
- Surround yourself with people smarter than you. It is so important to be the one who can turn to others for guidance and mentorship at any age.
