What's your business, and who are your customers?
We help undergraduates, MBA students, and professionals land job offers from top-tier consulting firms such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain & Company. We cover all the stages of the recruitment process in consulting, including resume and cover letter, fit and case interview preparation.
Tell us about yourself
About ten years ago, I started to help some friends prepare for their job interviews and get offers. At that time, I noticed what I was saying resonated with the people I was helping. And I noticed that it worked since many of them landed offers. Then, more and more people came to me for help.
And after a while, I decided to turn this activity into a business and charge a fee for my services. Today, a career in consulting is a team of 6 experts, and we help more than 200 candidates move into consulting.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The result with our customers. I am convinced that a job offer from a top-tier consulting firm can change a career trajectory. I'm proud of having impacted the career of so many people thanks to an innovative coaching program delivering an 85% success rate.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being alone. It's challenging to know what to do and how to do it. That's why it's so important to find mentors quickly.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
First, to fail fast. Try, iterate, and make mistakes... that's ok and better than thinking for hours about crafting the perfect plan. Try something if it doesn't work. You'll get more information to make a better decision for the next iteration.
Secondly, get a coach. Getting some help and an external view of your business is essential.
