Practical Ed Tech provides online and in-person professional development courses and workshops for teachers and librarians.

Tell us about yourself

The business started informally in 2007 when I started a blog on which I wrote about educational technology. The business formally began in 2011. Today, my motivation is to help as many teachers and librarians as possible learn how to use technology to create great learning experiences for kids.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Turning down an acquisition offer.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Navigating the sales and purchasing processes that schools utilize.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
