Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Matteo Cassese, Founder of La Fabbrica della Realtà, located in Berlin, Germany.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a business coach. I focus on helping my clients communicate better through great presentation and storytelling skills. I believe in openness, diversity, and digital transformation.

Tell us about yourself

I enjoy experimenting, researching, and learning. Whenever I encounter something that works, I then make it my mission to spread it to my clients.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I've consulted everyone's favorite entertainment brand (Netflix) for 2+ years, helping with their marketing and communications.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Doing your own marketing and selling yourself are the biggest challenges I find. And I have almost 20 years experience in marketing... 🤷‍♂️

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be radically open: give away your secrets, share all that you know, release your best content for free.
  2. Measure your business development efforts: it's very easy to get carried away while promoting your business. Try, test, measure, learn and repeat only what works.
  3. Build your ideal office: don't cut corners when it comes to your productivity. Create the space that is most conducive to your productivity.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?

Working out before starting to work is my personal key to happiness in my personal life and productivity in my professional life.
