What's your business, and who are your customers?
Keep Looking Up with B. Wright-Jones, LLC serves Christian women 35 and older who are stuck and have a desire to "Get Unstuck" and walk in their purpose with clarity, confidence, and power. I'm an online certified life coach, and I also offer books, online courses, CBD/Hemp products, and various event/business services such as book publishing, 30-second commercials, event management, and more.
Tell us about yourself
I love to empower other women. I struggled with low self-esteem for so long, and when I finally became aware of my worth, I wanted to spread that awareness to others. I started as a blogger and then became a published author of seven books sharing motivation and information around self-love. I'm also a global speaker that loves to help women to see their greatness.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
There are a few that I can think of, but I'm most proud of pulling together a global conference last January with 18 powerful women speakers. I'm working on Power Conference 2023 now, which will be coming out in January. I'm also proud of becoming the first author in my family.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Keeping up when sudden changes happen, such as being hit with the pandemic. Many things had to change within my business when this happened.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do your research, research, and more research around the type of business you want to start.
- Determine what type of start-up funds you will need, as well as money, to survive while building your business.
- Know your audience and their needs.
