What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the owner of BuffBoy Fitness, a health and wellness company that focuses on helping others achieve their best physique.
Tell us about yourself
I am a hard worker that believes everyone can achieve greatness. What started me working on my business was the necessity to provide for my kids. I am a father of 5, so the task was not easy! What motivates me is knowing that I can inspire others to chase their dream. As I always say: It's difficult, not IMPOSSIBLE!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I won a People's Choice Award for Best Fitness Professional. I was quite proud of that.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things was relocating my business to another country. Originally from Toronto, Canada, I made the leap to Los Angeles, which is not easy... especially considering the costs involved, and basically starting a business from scratch again. Finding new clientele was very hard for me.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Believe in yourself and your product. Others won't buy from you unless they believe in you or your product.
- Chase happiness, not money. Once you enjoy what you do, the money will come.
- Never quit...it won't always be easy. As long as you stick to it, you'll be fine.
