What's your business, and who are your customers?

Bubbly Creative is a boutique digital & content marketing agency focused on building & executing strategies to make small & medium-sized businesses POP!

Tell us about yourself

I started my career working in sales which gave me insight into relationship management and persuasive speech and writing. I then moved into a hybrid sales/marketing role and realized marketing was what I was passionate about.

With marketing, I love how I'm able to be collaborative and creative every day. I am motivated to keep my clients happy and help their businesses thrive. I am a big relationship person, so getting to know various clients and their stories is so much fun.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

There are a few: getting an office space, hiring employees, and being able to offer health insurance and 401k. We've helped businesses grow by 50%, and we are constantly met with positive feedback, which is always the biggest accomplishment for us!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The administrative and financial piece of being a business owner is challenging. There's also no one to blame; it's always on you, so there's a lot of accountability. It can feel isolating, so finding people in similar situations is so helpful.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be sure you're doing something you love, and that comes naturally. Get all the help you can, talk to other business owners, use free resources from the SBA, and join groups that support each other. Plan and strategize as much as you can. Things will always change, but make sure you are always going back to your plan and strategy.
