What's your business, and who are your customers?
BNC Education Consulting and Related Services, LLC is a business composed of several services supporting K-12 students, college/university students, and adult learners continuing their education and professional development. From tutoring to editing to language learning/translation to small event planning, BNC Edu. has it all!
Tell us about yourself
I have always enjoyed reading, writing, and learning. I went to school to become an educator and school administrator. I am a proud, lifelong learner. I love to help others achieve their goals. I started tutoring classmates in high school and have continued into my own business endeavor. Earning my doctorate in educational leadership helped me to further my speaking and coaching career.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner to date is my start-up. I started my business during the pandemic because I was passionate about students and families not feeling lost or alone during all the issues that came with distance learning.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is time management! Everything takes time and requires attention.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be intentional.
- Be determined.
- Be inspirational.
Don’t just start a business for money or recognition. Do it because you have something to share with the world, and if you only help one person, you’ve made a difference!
