What's your business, and who are your customers?
BriteCo is a jewelry and watches digital insurance company. We insure engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches. Our customers are engagement ring purchasers, watch collectors, and folks that have any jewelry of value.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a third-generation jeweler turned entrepreneur. I saw pain points and issues with people trying to insure their fine jewelry and watches. It was a time-consuming and painful process that required phone calls to agents, faxing documents, and waiting days for answers. This needed to be fixed, and BriteCo has streamlined the entire process.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building BriteCo from scratch into the company it is today is by far my biggest accomplishment as a business owner. I'm also extremely proud of my team and what we're able to accomplish together.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a business owner requires a significant amount of responsibility, and that's not something I take lightly. Truly building a great company and culture is hard and takes persistence. At BriteCo, we work hard daily to give back to our employees and our community.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
