What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am in the business of human potential and personal power. Limitless by Bridgette is a lifestyle brand where we connect ambitious leaders who are successful on paper but lack a sense of purpose and fulfillment. When connected to purpose, passion ignites, and a feeling of freedom and true, authentic success is created. Our clients enjoy the thrill of achievement - especially when there is meaning within the achievement. When this kind of leader is tuned in, tapped in, and turned on by purpose, we are an unstoppable force for good in the world.

Tell us about yourself

I was that ambitious leader that we serve - caught in the corporate jungle of achievement and success, but the definition and rules of the game of success were not aligned with the deepest part of me. I was going through the motions, earning a great living, but not really LIVING. I set out to find what I felt was missing and ended up finding myself. I found my sense of purpose in this world - to connect other ambitious leaders to THEIR sense of purpose - because what was missing the entire time was a success as defined by ME, not the outside world or society. I navigated fear and doubt to resign after a 15-year career and have never felt more successful than I do now. I am motivated daily to connect with every single ambitious professional who feels that same sense of a dull yet "successful" existence so that they can feel this sense of purpose, freedom, and joy that is our birthright to feel during our time here on Earth.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have yet to achieve my biggest accomplishment as a business owner because that will take my entire lifetime... and I am just getting started! I have had many proud moments on the way that all tie for the biggest. I'll start with having the courage to leave a perfectly good 15-year career, going from $0 to over a quarter of million dollars by being myself - taking off an entire month to backpack through Europe - just a daydream while I was still in my 9 to 5... and the greatest accomplishment that is on repeat daily is every client who smiles and celebrates that they've achieved something or are becoming a version of themselves they once thought was impossible is THE biggest accomplishment I can ever have.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Doubt, fear, and ignoring the people that feed those within me is the hardest thing about being a business owner. Having a vision for what you'd like to create in the world is a very personal experience. A dream or vision for something is often paired with fear and doubt about its ability to come to fruition. Being able to see what could be different because of you and then sharing that vision with people outside of you can be challenging when they do not have the ability to reinforce the vision. It's one of the hardest things to overcome the powerful thoughts of "what if I fail" with "what if this is greater than I can imagine?!". When you are able to keep moving despite the doubt and fear, that's when you achieve incredible things!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

First, believe in your ability to do anything you desire. You are never too old or too young to do anything. If it occurs to you to do it, do it. Second, you will need support because doubt and fear will come. Invest in an experienced Coach who has been where you want to go. Lastly, have so much fun! When you are having fun and enjoying creating profit from your passion, that's the sweetest joy, and seriousness is not required all of the time.
