What's your business, and who are your customers?

I support entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses, scaling operations thoughtfully and coaching business leaders. I have created ALIGNED AF to elevate the inner leader and maximize human potential in women leaders - everywhere those women work.

I believe essentially that by doing the work to understand your inner self with depth and clarity and bringing those deep desires to life — you'll watch yourself start to live and lead with your inner wisdom and create a way of working and living that's aligned…from the inside out.

Tell us about yourself

I started my business and leadership journey since birth. I was born into an entrepreneurial family with great immigrant grandparents that came from Ireland, Scotland, and Ukraine. I started in the retail industry in my early 20's and was introduced to what it meant to be a leader. I was known early on in my career as a coach, trainer, and developer of leaders. I honed those skills always with the intention of creating greater capacity in organizations with people's potential. I've always worked for entrepreneurial, family-owned businesses. I love helping leaders look for people, systems, and technology solutions to help them scale their businesses.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Developing hundreds of people into leaders by giving them the opportunity to learn and apply their goals. I paved the way and stepped out of the way so they could take on their biggest desires.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I know you want one thing...I think there are three things that must be worked on:

  1. Shifting limiting beliefs.
  2. Releasing money blocks.
  3. Setting clear boundaries.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You don't need a website, email list, 10K followers on Instagram, how to use Canva, etc.
  2. You don't need to have every certification, diploma, or degree - start working with your customers now...find out what they want more of...go learn that, co-create/collaborate with other experts
  3. As soon as you start making money, invest in a VA so you can start delegating tasks. You can then focus on staying in your vision versus getting burned out with low-level tasks. You can put aside $75-150 a week.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Put your body first and partner with your brain. Understand that your body gives you strength if you are treating it well. Partner with your brain and feed your brain with supportive work to navigate the negative thoughts it generates.
