What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help overwhelmed women who have tried every workout, every diet, and every doctor, find the underlying root cause of their body “diseases,” illuminate toxicity, and replace deficiencies finally get their health and body back, holistically!
Tell us about yourself
I am Brea Sharron Estep, an Integrative Health Practitioner, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, business coach, and author of the Amazon Bestseller “Holistic Health Clean Eating Cookbook.” With over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry, I use my health struggles and education to teach and coach others who feel like they have tried every diet, every workout, and/or every doctor to find the underlying root cause to finally get their health and body back holistically.
I was born and raised in Greensboro, NC, where I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with my bachelor’s in business and became the owner of Foundation Fitness studio for 8.5 years. I recently moved to Morehead City, NC, with my husband Tim and two pups to enjoy living their best life at the beach.
I am proud to represent my home state as Mrs. North Carolina United States and now Mrs. United States 2021-2022, where I promote my platform, my non-profit Youth Fitness Link, which shares my life’s mission statement “build positive, healthy relationships on the inside and out in order to combat adolescent obesity and teach healthy lifestyle changes.
I do what I do because I know what it feels like to go through decades of doctors, diagnoses, and RX drugs, and I don’t want anyone else to suffer as I did.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having a brick-and-mortar fitness studio at the age of 22, I thought, would be what I am most proud of. However, in every single testimonial I get from my integrative health clients, they have finally gotten results after being hopeless is the best feeling in the world!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
COVID! Time management is quite a struggle for me, and staying focused on tasks when I have so much to do!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just do it! Action proceeds clarity.
- Hire a mentor or coach (and a great accountant).
- Show up to serve.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
As a part-time business coach, I can’t recommend how hiring a business coach completely changed my game enough! Finding the clarity to move my mess and my mountains to my message and then to my masterpiece has truly been the gift of a lifetime! Invest in yourself!
