What's your business, and who are your customers?
I founded Brand Factory to help anyone build an online business or side hustle step by step.
Tell us about yourself
Coming from the fitness industry, I saw that many talented people simply lacked the tools they needed to make an impact or make money from their skills. Seeing what can be accomplished simply and easily without complicated tools motivates me to help others learn and grow.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to automate internal systems so that I don't spend unnecessary time worrying about the minutiae of my business. This allows me to have concrete weekly and daily operations, and I can spend much of my time focused on the parts of my business that I love.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Discerning what people actually need versus what they want since I want to give my clients and audience the most effective strategies and tools.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Validate your idea before building.
- Focus on what's actually going to be profitable, not getting too in-depth with design and "nice to have" features.
- Just start building! Don't wait. Ask someone if they would buy your idea, make your first sale, and go from there.
