Tell us all about your business...

Have you ever had a Concussion? Trauma? Anxiety or even ADHD? Has it affected your relationships? Your business? Your quality of life? Do you find your quality of sleep has changed? You might feel like you are losing your mind, your memory and your words? If so then you are the ideal candidate for my business brain health system. A system I created to support those who want to improve their brain at any age. Resolve pain in business, mental health and relationships. My business is to facilitate healing the soul, the mind and the brain.

What's your background and motivation to grow as a business owner?

Ever since I was 12 years old, I knew I would be self-employed as an entrepreneur. At that time, I wanted to be a lawyer. However, after several debilitating injuries and six concussions, my career path changed from physical health to brain health as life evolved. I have chosen to work with the 20 percent who do not recover from a head injury, the top-performing individuals experiencing memory loss or premature aging of the brain, and children who are suicidal or have high anxiety. My passion for supporting those that no one else does motivates me every day to find solutions for these people to get their brains back and even improve their quality of life to be better than before.

As an entrepreneur, what does success ultimately mean to you?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was establishing my business in two countries and creating a brain protocol that saves lives. Over the past two years, the system and protocol received an exemption to continue teaching and consulting live, as the work and research has been life-changing and has saved many lives.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being an entrepreneur?

The hardest thing about being a business owner is time management—finding the balance between self-care, family, and work.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?

The 3 Tips I would offer any person beginning this journey would be to

1. Delegate - Delegating is the key to success. One of my mentors shared with me something his dad taught him. Focus on what you do best, and if you can hire someone for less than what you charge per hour, you have to do it.

2. Perfectionism: Is the biggest hurdle to get over. Don't wait until the video is perfect or the blog post is excellent. If you believe only you can do it right, you will never move ahead, or you will be your biggest obstacle.

3. Self-Care - Take time to fill your bucket. Hire a coach, take a vacation, meditate daily. Allow for space for new ideas to flow to you. If you do not have the physical or mental resources, you will be burned out, or a workaholic, or worse, quit the pursuit of your dreams.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

As a business owner, know the difference between buying yourself a job and running a business. Do you want to work in the business or on it?
