What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a chef who does custom cakes and treats for all occasions, and I offer cooking and baking classes as well as private dinners and catering. My customers are local people in our community, moms, and those that are getting married!
Tell us about yourself
I have been working in kitchens and restaurants since I was 15 years old. I've done everything from the Dalai Llama's 80th birthday cake to private celebrity events, cooking classes in clients' homes, and even running restaurants! I've cooked in a variety of restaurants and have been a Pastry Chef. I love cooking and baking, and I enjoy teaching people all the things I have learned along the way to put an amazing meal on the table for friends and family to enjoy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment so far is going into year 2 in the green!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It's a lot of hard work and sometimes burning the candle at both ends, but when you get to see the product of the extra effort, it's so worth it!
