What's your business, and who are your customers?
We create incredible personalized barware and gifts to celebrate important events in life... like a wedding, a military promotion, a change of command, a young pilot earning their wings, or a much-deserved retirement. Most of our personalized creations are commissioned as gifts, either by family or "by military for military."
Tell us about yourself
Every entrepreneur seeks the holy grail of business... creating that perfect value product that multiplies business and fuels growth. We do that by aspiring for excellence in everything we do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I've learned to "listen" to the market and execute adjustments to products and processes necessary to maximize results. You have to tune out distractions and maintain focus.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Limited time makes it difficult to master the many disciplines required of a small business. Today, you must not only make a great product and find creative ways to put it in front of potential buyers, but you must also distinguish yourself in a sea of noisy competitors.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I learned this many years ago... not mine, but invaluable. SOLVE A PROBLEM - DO IT NOW and MAKE IT EASY. That's what your customer wants from you. AND you must do it better than your competitors. This applies to any type of business.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
You need to get "in the game." I see too many people waiting until this or that happens... all you are doing is delaying benefits. Get in the game, and you'll have the opportunity to figure it out as you go.
