Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Bob Doyle, Founder of Boundless Living, Inc., located in Henderson, NV, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a neuroplasticity coach. I help people get clear on the wiring in their brain that is causing frustrating results in life and help them create new thoughts and behaviors that bring them into alignment with who they need to be to have the life they want.

Tell us about yourself

I side-stepped into the personal development world from a career in broadcasting when I became disillusioned early in my career and felt professionally lost. This search for answers eventually led me to information related to creating your life by design, which appealed to me, but was a tough sell due to my skeptical and analytical nature. However, when I started studying a bit of quantum physics, the whole thing became a lot more real, and I started to see results with it in my life. Since then, I've been doing my best to impart my knowledge to others who are seeking to embody their most passionate form of self-expression. My work has evolved from the Law of Attraction being the means of transformation to the direct rewiring of our brains - which then allows the Law of Attraction to do its things without a lot of interference from people trying to "make it work" and doubting themselves and the process.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My early work in the area of personal development caught the attention of the producers of the film and book "The Secret," which because a cultural phenomenon and exploded my business.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Probably persistence and staying motivated when you're not getting the results you're after. You must be willing to constantly readjust any thoughts that come up that give you doubt, particularly when those thoughts are rooted in limited thinking from the past, which has no real truth to them. Knowing when to change course or to STAY the course when things get tough can be a challenge.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know and develop your strengths, always. Delegate the rest.
  2. Treat it like a REAL business from Day 1, no matter where you conduct that business.
  3. Stay in tune with your vision, and allow it to evolve as necessary to free grow.
